What do you think about the siutation of the women of Congo?

sexual violence in Congo rages unabated, amid widespread indifference and in a climate of impunity. Savage rapes are committed against women as old as 87 and children as young as 10 months. Few of the culprits are punished: There is no functioning justice system to speak of, and most attacks go unreported. Victims are disgraced and frequently ostracized by their families and communities.
How many people knew about this? how can u help? just let me know what u think. do u have any solutions. Im not from that country but im interested in the subject because Congo is considered the deadliest war after WWII

There are a great many problems that contribute to these other problems. First of all, the area is war-torn, and there is no consistent law and order. In the US, some people bemoan the fact that we enforce laws with some consistency, but at least most people have some measure of safety this way. Second, women don't have much in the way of civil/legal rights in that area. Rape is seen as being a crime against the man who controls a woman, not against the woman herself.

Perhaps the women need to form a "Pink Gang" or Gulabi/Gulagi Gang...I can't remember the exact spelling.
