what a.r. or manual do i need to find answers on army rifle range questions,how many times you can try 2qual?
i am sick of peoople at the range trying to qualify over and over again until they qual. what a.r. tells me this stuff? or manual or something. there has to be limits or guidlines on army standard at the range. thank u
Check out FM 3-22.9 or AR 350-1 (Ch 4-14).
Honestly, though, I don't believe there are any regulations which dictate how many times a Soldier may bolo/qualify on the same range. This is normally dictated by local policy which is dictated by ammo appropriations.
However, if anything, you shouldn't concern yourself with how many times it takes a Soldier to qualify. If anything, you should address the potential (obvious) lack of proper PMI, training, coaching that your unit is (isn't) conducting. If anything, if you are a one shot one kill type of Soldier, you should step up to the plate and lead your unit and Soldiers in proper PMI, training, coaching.
The way I see i , the problem is not the number of times it takes a Soldier to qualify. The problem is (may be) the lack of quality training being conducted prior to a range and this is what needs to be rectified.
