Travelling in Europe for 5 months, Where to go?
I will be in Europe for a little over five months strictly travel from February to August I plan on going from England to Spain and Portugal, flying to Venice, head down to Pompeii, hitting the main Italian cities on the road, visit Greece, to Istanbul, then to Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Prague, Munich, Switzerland, Home Berlin, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Brussels, Brughe, Edinborough, Dublin, and back in California. I am a history major with a specialization in history of ancient Rome, and would love to see any kind of ruin or a castle, with a good amount of university towns with pubs entertaining. I will travel by any method is the least expensive to this point, plane, bus, bike or train. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions where a good place to visit would be. And do not tell me "London" because I know, give me specifics in cities please.
