History of Consciousness & Wilhelm Reich?
From BBC's The Century of the Self (3 of 4) documentary :

At the Core, this is very much a brief modern history of consciousness !
Despite the near-universal opposition to Reich's challenge of Freud - his idea has shaped our knowledge of Consciouness by countless real-life explorative experiments by his "friends or foes" !!!
What do you think ?
Cheers
PS. Googled "history of consciousness" produces 83,400 results comaparing 88 results for "history of consciousness" + "wilhelm reich" (which has little to say about his idea about consciousness !)
Thanks for the link. Very interesting. We are still - scientifically - at such a primitive state regarding understanding consciousness.
Freud and Reich were both looking at only a part of the picture and no matter what new therapies have developed, psychology is still seeking ways to either 'moderate or release' the unconscious egoic (learned/imprinted) self as though that is the entirety of one's identity. Although both are valuable to mental health, it does not speak to a higher awareness of being - the Observer/Seer of the egos thought system - which leads one to a position of Self mastery.
