What is the most effective method of winning a war?
- Agro- terrorism? (destroying a countries agriculture and effecting it's military expenditure. This was used in Vietnam).
- Would it be fighting a war of attrition?
- Nuclear weapons?
- Use of propaganda or physiological warfare?
- Or maybe chemical warfare?

Cut off the supply lines/resources. When Hitler decided to attack Russia Joseph Stalin decided not to confront the Germans so much as to led them further and further into Russia's vastness. The German supply lines became longer and easier to attack starving the front lines of resources. When the German Enigma code was cracked at Bletchly Park it enabled the allies to target ships carrying fuel from Italy to North Africa...cutting off Rommel's fuel supplies.
