What kind of benefits does a surviving family recieve from the government if member is killed in action?
I hope we take care of them.
I believe Military and First Responders (Police, Fire, EMS) Killed in the line of duty receive $350,000 from the government, piad to the beneficiaries. Plus any extra insurance they had paid for, such as life insurance. Also any suplemental insurance, ie: Aflac. Social Security may also assist the children of the fallen hero, if there were any (children).
