A Lt. Col. in the Paracute Regiment quits the Army in disgust?
at the overall treatment of the troops. The Ministry of Defence refutes all his allegations, and basically says their equipment, pay, housing, and medical treatment is second to none. Someone's got to be lying. Who do you think it is??!!

Thank you to everyone who answered my question, and I am sorry there can be only one "best answer". The result was unequivocal - the MOD are lying (what's new) , and our troops are being badly let down. I support the actions of the Lt. Col. and I SUPPORT OUR TROOPS.
There is no question who is not coming forward with the truth the. MOD
, Far too many people both inside the armed forces and observers on the outside have made the same allegations/ statements on exactly as Lt Col.anyone who watches parliamentary question time will also have heard these questions raised nothing seem to be done WHY?
Here we have an officer of high rank, and one does not reach that rank, without being qualified from one of the most prestigious regiments in the British army the issue of these conditions,all these complaints need to be addressed urgently one of those complaints show very clearly from an obviously respected man primarily to raise again his comrades are in deep trouble with inadequate equipment to fight a war.
How senseless can that be MOD.? you should be ashamed.!!!will anyone do anything to assist our lads out there in awful conditions/?
