Why do the Marine Officer dress blues have less "pizazz" than the enlisted ones?
I don't know about most of you out there, but I've always thought that the Marine Officer dress blues look much more boring than the Enlisted dress blues, mainly because there are no red trims, it's a blue belt, so it looks more boring than the Enlisted ones, except for the fact that the Officer dress blues have gold on the cap and a bigger sword. Could someone tell me the reason for this?
Because Marine Officers also get to wear the Mexican Restaurant Busboy Mess Dress Uniform, complete with cape.
