I feel like I'm missing a lot of disk space on my hard drive?

I have a mac and lately its been running kind of slow. I looked at my hard drive, which said it had ~120 gb out of 270 gb available. Then I started looking at my folders and everything inside and I only have about 21 gb used up that I can find. Where could the other 100 gb be?

Run your PC in safe mode
Click Start menu
Go to RUN & Type

\Windows\temp

and press enter.
In this windows, here delete all the big sized files.
Your space will be free. These are the temporary files that are generated & have to be manually deleted.

Also do
Click Start menu
Go to RUN & Type
%temp%
And delete all files.
