How to make black & white photo into color?
I need to make Black & White photo into color. Photo Description : the baby & man. i can't give the correct skin color and effect. please anyone to guide me
You can tint the entire picture easily, but if you want to make a full color photo, all you can do is paint on the correct colors. It is a very labor intensive process, and usually doesn't work so well. Skin tones are extremely difficult to get right.
You need something that works in layers, like GIMP (free) or Photoshop (not free). You make a new layer, and paint the appropriate color over the part of the image you want... using layers, you can adjust the transparency of the color, and all sorts of other things. When you get that part the way you want it, you make a new layer and start on the next part. Save often, keep it in PSD format so you don't lose the layer information. You can work on it over time that way and not have to start again from scratch.
Good luck, the advice above to find a tutorial or two on Youtube is a good idea.
